Description
(In honor on the memory, and legacy of RMS Titanic. And the 1.500 men, women, and children who lost their lives that night so long ago. Let this be my tribute to you.)
An updated version, the bridge "wings" have been extended, the #1 funnel has more detail, (although it is mostly eclipsed by the mast.) The bow now has its signature cleats, the railings are more historically accurate, and finally the prow is present on the ship.
The RMS Titanic set sail on its maiden voyage from Southampton, England, on April 10, 1912. The ship made stops in Cherbourg, France, and Queenstown (now known as Cobh), Ireland, before embarking on its journey across the North Atlantic Ocean towards its final destination, New York City.
The Titanic was a luxurious and massive passenger liner, touted as one of the most advanced and opulent ships of its time. It carried over 2,200 passengers and crew members, including wealthy passengers, immigrants seeking a new life in America, and the ship's crew.
Tragically, as I mentioned earlier, the Titanic struck an iceberg on the night of April 14, 1912, causing severe damage to its hull. The ship sank in the early hours of April 15, 1912, resulting in the loss of more than 1,500 lives. The sinking of the Titanic remains one of the most famous maritime disasters in history and has been the subject of extensive historical research, documentaries, books, and movies.
